Jaycees Superhero Weekend

MDJC May Convention and Eastern Institute Annual Meeting

The Maryland Jaycees are teaming up with the Eastern Institute to create a fantastic convention in May.  Bring your superhero alter-ego and be ready to take on the training that will help you become a better Active Citizen in your home community!

Events planned for the weekend include:

Member Events

• Mudd House Tour (Friday night)
  • The Mudd House is a historic Maryland plantation, dating back to the 1800's.
• Training
  • Civic Leadership Certification Mid-Year Review, Jeff Lank (DE), Past National President
  • Community Engagement, Anthony Colletti (IL), National Vice President
• Competitions
  • Speak-Up
  • Write-Up
• Breakfast and Lunch
• EI Reverse Raffle
• Maryland Awards Banquet (including the EI Performer Awards)
• Keynote Speaker
• Heroes Project
  • Jaycees from across the Mid-Atlantic will converge upon the Field of Dreams, a field built by the Waldorf Jaycees.  We'll be super heros to children with disabilities, assisting them in a game of baseball.  Be sure to wear your favorite Super Hero shirt or costume!

We've worked hard to make this convention as affordable as possible.

Early bird registration (through April 15) is just $40!  

Late Registration is $50.  

A meetings only package is available for $10.
